3 - 6 month artist residency program for studio artists interested in creating art on a daily basis and selling it in attached gallery gift shop.
Artist Residency Includes
- 24-hour access to the facilities.
- Large studio space (supplies paid for by artist)
- Private small bedroom with shared kitchen privileges
- A reception at the end of the residency (including design and printing of invitations, refreshments, assistance setting up).
- Wireless Internet Access (laptop not provided)
Expectations of Resident Artist
- Work in the studio either 40 hours per week for a full-time residency (part of that time will be working in gallery gift shop)
- Make a few pieces of art for the company’s permanent art collection
- Use materials purchased by artist residency
- Be available to talk with the media and others about your art
- Sell the art created during your residency in attached gallery
Fees
- $100/week - paid in advance
- Art supplies - expenses paid by artist
- Food paid for by artist
