So not what I set out to do today…for whatever reason…this is what i did…do I know my market…as much as I do cutesy artsy fartsy stuff…people are drawn to the erotic…maybe this is meant to be an eye catcher for the Stowe Festival. I am constantly thinking and rethinking my habitual thoughts…thus creating and recreating the same kind of events or circumstances. It is changing all the time. Maybe tomorrow…since the kids are at their dads…I will do a lighter more zen like painting…similar to yesterdays. Art is a state of mind…to create without thought…much more my style. The Offering

I painted this opposite of “In and Out of Consciousness” on the same paper…originally I was going to separate the two…kind of like the juxtaposition. “The Offering” was inspired by an earlier work created by my six year old daughter. I should draw from her talent more often…she has no ego or attachment to her work. She creates her art via observing the world around her. Most of her work is people holding hands or giving things to each other…very sweet…my budding artist. I chose to add a sort of ceremonial dress to this…gives a more genuine native feel to the work. My work is taking on more of a mature role…possibly because I am easing into the natural vibration of energy and goodness surrounding me…my work is loving it. (watercolor and ink)

Must say I am making huge strides manifesting in the present moment. Repelling souls while attracting positive ones…constant weeding…setting personal boundaries to keep away the negative vibes. This is difficult as there are some very negative people in my outer circle…very much trying to let them go. On the flipside…there are those who consistently provide a balance of harmony of joy. I trust and confide in these like-minded beings. When you are not attached to your lover…there is not a fear of loss when you hold them in your arms. When you do not rely on them to feel safe or to feel loved…anxiety does not exist when they go away. When you do not seek to find yourself in them…you allow them to be just as they are. The mind games fade…the manipulations drop..and the feeling gets deeper and deeper…more genuine. Much goodness in my life today. (watercolor and ink on paper)

Here it is…my donation to the art auction to raise money for the Montgomery student trip to Europe. I could not part with one of my latest ink and watercolor nudes…decided to do something completely new…and love the outcome…I think Stowe would like these too…after the weekend…I am going to be busy. My kids are in the fourth of july parade tomorrow…busy making signs for the kids to hold in the parade. Good times…I have a houseful of friends coming to visit. Wish you a festive fourth. Ok…I am experimenting here…added gold leaf to these…I plan on adding more color to bring out the gold and the lovers. I devised a petition similar to Brattleboro’s petition to arrest Bush and Cheney if come to Vermont. Brattleboro residents will vote at town meeting on whether President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney should be indicted and arrested for war crimes, perjury or obstruction of justice if they ever step foot in Vermont. The Brattleboro Select Board voted 3-2 Friday to put the controversial item on the Town Meeting Day warning. In similar suit…it is my goal to get this on the Montgomery ballot for town meeting…I plan on documenting the process via video…so will have many updates to report on. This is one of three…possibly one of several…experimenting with lines and color…will most likely add to the background of this…think I am in a manic stage…after the kids went to bed…oil primed three large canvases…will convert the lovers dance ink sketches to oil…atleast I am painting during manic bouts…and not having sex with strangers…kidding…please…if thinking about sex all the time makes me a sex maniac…well so be it…a 30 something single girl with a vivid imagination…my imagination goes through periods of fullness and emptiness…riding this immense wave of fullness…and well how else to explain painting erotica…think i will go back and retouch some of my latest oils…they seem too subtle…having dinner with friends tonight…so need to clean my house… (18×24 watercolor and ink)

Playing in my sketchbook…today’s girl…running from her fears…looking for a place to hide…we do that when things get sloppy…it is easier to not deal…let things die…where in the world are we now…sensing some crazy energy going on…saddest part of a broken heart is not the ending…so much as the start…hard to tell just how I felt…to not recognize myself…after all…I am exactly where I need to be…superstar in my own private movie….and everyone wants my part…………………….(ink, watercolor, graphite)

So much for my coffee free state…completely wired after two and half cups…not too mention all worked up by the Nevada courts not allowing Dennis Kucinich in the presidential debate last night…check out Democracy Now today…they devoted the full hour to allow him to debate.
Two dangerously seductive woman…walking home with another under their spell. I live mostly in my imagination…why I love being an artist…conjuring up the wildest of fantasies….images…dreams…getting them out on the canvas. I have this friend…she is hysterical…she does not read my blog…she should…as all my friends should…but hey if we all had unlimited free time to read our friends’ blogs…anyhow…she has this amazing energy…and she’s fucking funny…I just feed off her…we work well as a team…she is much more assertive…and me…rely on my quick personality…following her lead…as not so good with the initiation piece……but what does a girl want or need…what do we all crave…healthy expressions of human sexuality even if all it is…is a highly turned on conversation at a bar…that lasts for a half hour…it is that heightened degree of awareness elicited by an intensely funny conversation…with sexually exciting undertones….and well helps out when there are two enchanting woman leading the conversation…uninhibited by the taboos of society…
