I am in the process of completing six large abstract nudes on 18×24 cream color fine drawing paper. Lately my interest in golf has captured a majority of my attention…totally loving the leisure tour…taking my 7 iron with me to Burlington…thinking I will stop on the way home and hit some balls. Taste of Little Bohemia
08May08
OK…there are bare spots on my walls…my best art is in Burlington at the Daily Planet restaurant…in my home gallery…I am working on some new stuff…here is a taste of current works…proudly hanging on my gallery wall. She changes everything she touches…and everything she touches…changes. Going outside to pick some fresh flowers for my home.
Loving This
06May08
I must admit I am loving being back into the blog thing…and am loving having an art space in my home to show off my art work…have received positive feedback from the community…can’t imagine doing anything else at this point in my professional life. The world needs more creatives. Blessed be me. (5×5 pencil framed)
Not In The Mood
05May08
Rested and so not in the mood to paint…so here goes some sketchy pencil nudes done while sitting in my backyard by the river. Having taken two weeks off from blogging and daily painting…so worth it…cleaned my garage…organized my studio…Burlington installation of artwork…reconnected with party friends…most especially enjoyed the free time with kids…cookouts…set up the trampoline…nostalgic tire swing near the river…basketball games. My house…the after school hangout for neighborhood kids…which I so cater too…nice to keep an eye on them that way. On the downside my blog hits decreased from an average of 50 a day to about 20 per day. Oh well…the break was most refreshing…will most likely make it a habit…to recharge and work on other projects. Nonetheless…happy to be back. (5×5 pencil)
May Art Exhibit
02May08An unexpected surprise…my art is now on exhibit at the Daily Planet restaurant in Burlington for the month of May. I thought I was going to be on exhibit the month of June… At this point any exposure is good exposure. If you are in the mood for good food and good art check out my exhibit. All my work is for sale. My red poplars are at this exhibit…and in my opinion way underpriced…so if you need some powerful moving art…snatch up that series. The art studio is looking a bit sparse as most of my work is in Burlington…back to the grind…Monday to do some new stuff. These two weeks off…the best two weeks off to reconnect with my kids…friends…life in general. All is good. Trust me I will be back. I miss my bloggy life. Love ya. Christine
